We have a fantastic opportunity for   a   Reconciliation Officer   in our   Cardiff   office on a hybrid basis.

The Reconciliation Officer role focuses on safeguarding funds held in trust for insurer and corporate clients, with careful reconciliation of bank accounts against underlying ledgers to ensure financial information is   accurate   and clearly presented. Daily work involves close collaboration with internal teams, clients, and CRM colleagues to   maintain   steady communication and dependable service.

Strong analytical skills support the verification of accounts and operating data, with discrepancies investigated and resolved promptly to protect client money and uphold financial controls. Regular interaction with other departments helps   maintain   smooth information flow and ensures client needs are consistently met.

Audit activity includes preparing documentation, supporting the audit process, and contributing to post audit reviews. A commitment to continuous improvement is key,   identifying   opportunities to refine processes and enhance financial operations.   Additional   duties may be   allocated   at the manager’s discretion, calling for a calm, methodical approach.

Many colleagues   benefit   from hybrid working, and this role includes a minimum of two days per week in the   Cardiff   office. - Flexibility and Development –   You are willing to support colleagues, take on extra tasks, and any bookkeeping or ATT qualification is a bonus.
