This policy explains how Emploive, LLC handles personal information.

It applies to our website, iPhone app, job alerts, AI assistant plugins, and related services.

Account information

We collect your name, email address, account credentials, profile image, sign-in method, acceptance date, and terms version.

Preferences and content

We store your job trackers, filters, notification settings, prompts, referrals, and feedback.

We also store resumes, application history, and the profile details you choose to save for application forms.

These details can include contact information, work history, education, and optional demographic answers.

When you choose to read a resume with AI, we send it to OpenRouter and its model provider.

The app asks for your permission before sending the resume. You can enter your details without AI.

Location access is optional. The app uses Apple location services to suggest places.

We store the places you select as job preferences. We do not store your device coordinates.

Billing information

We store Apple transaction identifiers, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan status, and billing dates.

Apple or Stripe processes your payment details. Emploive does not store full payment card numbers.

Usage and device information

We collect page activity, product events, referral data, device details, errors, and network information.

Email link records can include the destination, click time, IP address, and browser information.

Our iPhone app stores an Apple push token when you enable push notifications.

• Other users provide information when they use our referral program.

What we receive

We receive the searches, filters, and tracker changes you ask the assistant to make.

We also receive the assistant name, an anonymous user and conversation identifier from the assistant, and network information.

If you connect your account, we store the connection and its access tokens.

If you ask for alerts inside the assistant, we store the delivery address the assistant gives us.

What the assistant receives

Without an account, the assistant receives job listings and job details.

With a connected account, it can also receive your trackers, their matches, your plan, and your alert email usage.

It does not receive your resume, applications, or saved application profile.

The assistant provider handles that information under its own privacy policy.

How we use it

We use this information to answer your requests, deliver alerts, limit abuse, and measure plugin use.

Retention and your choices

Access tokens expire within a day. Refresh tokens expire within 30 days unless the assistant uses them.

Alert subscriptions inside an assistant end after seven days unless the assistant renews them.

You can disconnect Emploive in the assistant settings at any time. Disconnecting stops new requests.

Trackers you made through an assistant stay in your account until you delete them.

We disclose information to service providers that help us operate Emploive.

These providers include Stripe, Google, SendGrid, PostHog, Apple, hosting providers, and AI service providers.

When you use Emploive in an AI assistant, we send the assistant provider the results of your requests.

We can also disclose information for legal process, safety, fraud prevention, or a business transfer.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We use cookies and local storage for sign-in, security, settings, attribution, and analytics.

You can limit cookies through your browser. Some limits can stop account features from working.

We keep personal information while your account is active and as needed to provide Emploive.

When you delete your account, we delete it with your trackers, alerts, applications, and resumes.

We keep an anonymous record of the kind of account that closed and the reason you gave.

That record holds no name, email address, or account number, so it cannot point back to you.

We can keep records longer for security, disputes, tax, accounting, and legal duties.

Backup copies can remain for a limited period after deletion.

We use reasonable controls to protect information. No storage or transmission system is completely secure.

You can change tracker settings and notification choices in Emploive.

You can manage a paid subscription through the Stripe billing portal in your profile.

You can request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal information.

You can also object to or limit some uses where local law gives that right.

In the iPhone app or on the website, open Profile and choose Delete account to delete your account and saved data.

Cancel your Apple subscription in Apple Settings. Account deletion does not cancel it.

Email [email protected] to make a privacy request. We can verify your identity first.

We will not treat you unfairly because you used a privacy right.

Privacy rights vary by location. We honor requests when applicable law requires them.

Authorized agents can submit requests where local law permits. We can ask for proof of authority.

You can appeal a denied request by replying to our decision.

We operate in the United States. Your information can be processed in the United States and other countries.

Emploive is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We can update this policy. We will post the new date and provide notice when required.
