Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) Sports Europe represents WBD’s portfolio of sports brands, channels, and platforms in Europe. Your   New   Role...

As a Media Manager,   you   will   coordinate   the   delivery   of   programming   for transmission to the   Playout   facility ,   ensuring   media content   is   processed   accurately ,   efficiently   and on   schedule . Working   across   multiple production support   functions ,   you   will   play   a   key   role   in   maintaining   smooth   broadcast   operations   and content   availability .

Your   Role   Accountabilities...

- Prioritise content   delivery   across   Production,   Ingest , Edit, VOD and   Playout   teams   to support   operational   deadlines.
- Ensure   ingest   requirements   are   accurate   and   that   all   required   content   is   successfully   captured .
- Maintain   the   accuracy   of   naming   conventions,   metadata   and   metadata   application   across   content workflows.
- Coordinate   effectively   with   MCR, Engineering, Production, Edit,   Bookings ,   Ingest   and Archive   teams   to support content   operations .
- Manage   incoming   content issues,   including   escalation ,   reporting   and   resolution   where   required .
- Oversee   archive content restores and   manage   the   day -to- day   file   delivery   schedule ,   identifying   potential   delays   and   risks .
- Perform   quality   control checks for   Playout   delivery , monitor MAM system performance, support hardware   tracking   for productions and   act   as   a   key contact for system   engineering issues .

Qualifications &   Experience...

- Working knowledge of broadcast equipment, file   formats   and   transcoding processes.
- Excellent understanding and   demonstrable   expertise   in the use of EVS IPD MAM   systems.
- Knowledge and experience of cloud-based broadcast technologies
- Understanding of   file formats, audio track layouts, metadata   requirements   and their application within production environments.
- Knowledge and enthusiasm for a broad range of sports within the Warner Bros. Discovery portfolio, alongside an appreciation of media availability, archive   management   and production delivery timelines.

This   is   a shift- based   role   covering   7   days   a   week   between   08: 00 and   00: 00 and   is   fully   office- based   in the   Chiswick   office.

Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
