About the Role
We are seeking an innovative and experienced Machine Learning Engineer with a strong focus on Generative AI , Computer Vision , and Computer Graphics to join our cutting-edge team at the intersection of AI and the film industry at Autodesk Flow Studio (formerly Wonder Studio), our state-of-the-art AI-powered VFX platform. In this role, you will design and implement state-of-the-art ML and GenAI models to solve complex problems in areas such as visual effects , neural rendering , motion capture , and 3D content generation . Your work will directly impact the future of digital storytelling and content creation.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in applied Machine Learning
- Proven experience with Deep Learning and Computer Vision techniques, including but not limited to: CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, Autoencoders, Diffusion Models, and Transfer Learning.
- Hands-on experience in any of: 3D Pose Estimation , Motion Reconstruction , and Image/Video-based 3D Modeling .
- Neural Rendering , Generative Models (e.g., GANs, VAEs, Diffusion), and Photorealistic Synthesis .
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiar with C++ .
- Proficiency with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow .
- Solid understanding of Computer Graphics fundamentals, including rendering pipelines, shading, and simulation.
- Familiarity with Numerical Optimization techniques and differentiable programming.
- (Optional but valuable) Experience with 3D tools such as Blender , Maya , or game engines (e.g., Unreal, Unity).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Mathematics , Electrical Engineering , or a related technical field.
- Excellent communication skills in English , both written and verbal

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
