Job profile summary

Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new or revised production processes for the efficient/economical mass production of goods including:

- Designing arrangement of manufacturing equipment to ensure most efficient and productive layout

- Designing the sequence of production operations, specifying procedures for the fabrication of applicable tools and equipment, and adapting machinery in response to factory   conditions

- Conducting tests throughout all stages of production   to determine control   over applicable variables and   troubleshooting/solving   production problems

- Providing guidance and inputs to product design engineering on technical specifications that will   best utilize equipment   and manufacturing   techniques.

- Ensuring that production processes and procedures are in compliance   with regulations.

- Responsible for supporting optical assembly processes, including   proper handling and cleaning   techniques of optical components   to maintain high-quality   standards.

- The role requires familiarity with optical adhesives and a   basic understanding   of bonding chemistry to ensure effective and reliable   assembly.

- Knowledge of optical systems, optical measurements and optical system performance.

- Requires understanding of compliance, pharmaceutical, biological, biochemical,   medical, patent and   commercial factors.

- Make recommendations concerning acquisition and use of new technological equipment and materials; develop and inform new product design or current product upgrades to ensure manufacturability and assembly; support investigations by providing technical reports for use by regulatory   agencies/bodies.

- Min bachelor's degree in engineering, automation ect related discipline
- 5-10 years NPI engineer, process engineer experience in MTO, prefer in start-ups, relevant experience in highly regulated industry with complex product lines. Optics most preferred.
- Strong Mechanical, chemical, process, optics background, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on approach   with a strong ability to work directly on equipment and processes.
- Self-starter   who can work independently and take initiative in problem-solving and process improvement.

- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments
