Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Strategic Sourcing Buyer with German language to manage end-to-end sourcing activities for Facility Services and other complex direct and indirect categories. You will work in close collaboration with IBM's Germany-based Facility Management client, driving strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier engagement. You will lead strategic sourcing projects, manage supplier relationships, negotiate commercial agreements, and deliver measurable business value.   Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end sourcing projects, including market analysis, RFx processes, supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting. Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Facility Services and complex procurement categories. Negotiate pricing models, SLAs, KPIs, liabilities, and service agreements. Manage supplier contracts and drive cost optimization, risk mitigation, and supplier performance. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, influence decision-making, and provide procurement expertise. Analyze spend and financial data to develop and support business cases. Fluent in English and German. Proven experience in strategic sourcing, preferably within Facility Services or complex procurement categories. Strong expertise in RFx management, contract negotiation, and supplier management. Excellent contract management, stakeholder management and commercial negotiation skills. Hands-on experience negotiating pricing models, SLAs, KPIs, liabilities, and service scopes. Results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership. • Commodity Market Analysis: Experience with analyzing market trends and fluctuations in commodity prices to inform sourcing decisions and optimize the sourcing process. • Advanced Sourcing Tools: Experience with utilizing advanced sourcing tools and technologies to streamline the sourcing process and improve efficiency. • Industry Benchmarking: Experience with conducting industry benchmarking to identify best practices and opportunities for improvement in the sourcing process.
