About this role
Lewis & Clark's Restaurant has anchored historic Main Street in St. Charles for decades. A family owned and operated establishment, with a full-service dining room, busy bar, and a private party and catering business. Our team consists of around 60 people who take good food and service seriously.
Pay and Schedule
• $15 - $17 /hr
• Part-time hours, primarily evenings and weekends
• Complementary meal per shift
What You Will Do
• Read tickets and prepare food to order with accuracy and speed
• Maintain a clean, stocked and organized station
• Work as part of a team, communicating effectively to maintain efficiency
• Prep a variety of items
• Keep product fresh through effective rotation and labeling
What We Are Looking For
• Line experience preferred, but not required
• Solid knife technique and attention to detail
• Ability to read tickets and prepare food to order with accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs and stay on your feet for 8+ hrs
• ServeSafe or Food Handler certification preferred, or willing to attain
