Job Summary: Coherent is seeking a proven leader to join our Finance team in Santa Clara, CA. This highly visible role will support our EVP of a significant Business Group (BG) within the Datacenter & Communications segment.
As the finance business partner for one of our significant BG, this person will help shape the business strategy as well as the success of this dynamic and geographically diverse team. While ensuring an adequate control environment, this role leads financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, forward cost accounting for growth, and financial reporting of the BG. The position also ensures industry trends impacting the divisions, Business Units (BU) in the BG, including economic issues, competition, pricing, and disruptive technologies are identified, understood and addressed by the BG leadership team.
