Summit Golf Brands is the company behind the design and sales of Fairway & Greene, Zero Restriction and B. Draddy. Our headquarters is located in the heart of Manhattan on Fifth Avenue, just one block from Bryant Park.

As the Assistant Merchandiser & Planner, this person will work with many different teams in our New York office, including the merchandising/buying team, production, sales, and more. This person will be able to see the lifecycle of our products, from product development to delivery of the inventory.

Reports to: Vice President of Merchandising and Planning

Role Requirements:

- Run weekly selling reports which include wholesale & ecommerce in seasonal selling as well as aged inventory.

- Learn to analyze business results in partnership with manager in preparation for weekly meetings. Develop the ability to draw top line conclusions and actions from analysis.

- Construct seasonal selling visuals of top and bottom sellers to share with internal teams.

- Assist with inventory level reviews and communicate with sales team inventory updates on a regular basis, for both seasonal and basic inventory.

- Create and maintain accurate sku plans, buy plans, and marketing guides. Communicate changes to appropriate business partners on an on-going and timely basis.

- Develop and maintain style set up in BC systems, ensure consistency in style attributes between all brands so reporting is clear and accurate.

- Assist in building wholesale/ retail pricing structures by brand and providing cross-functional partners with costing targets and publishing final price lists each season before market.

- Communicate daily ship mode direction as needed to Production each week, highlight any inventory shortages to inventory team to get approval for air units.

- Conduct periodic sizing studies for all brands to ensure inventory ratios are in line with current sales trends.

- Responsible for executing and passing off size breakdowns for orders to production.

- Proof catalog, web, and marketing collateral for discrepancies in product information and pricing.

- Demonstrate and communicate awareness of competitors, Conduct research on competitive set including pricing, style, and key messaging information.

- Help manager and team with additional projects and tasks as needed.

Education and Experience:

- 2+ years of related experience in Merchandising/Buying/Retail ideal.

- Proficient computer skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); ability to learn systems.

- Ability to learn quickly and work in a highly collaborative environment.

- Experience with systems PLM and BlueCherry is a plus.

- Detail oriented, with excellent follow-through skills.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Must be able to handle multiple projects with adherence to deadlines.

- Must be highly organized.

- Resourceful, efficient, and able to take initiative.

- Creative problem solver with a solution-driven approach. Innate critical thinker.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to operate seamlessly during moments of ambiguity.
