Ocean Beach Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with a strong interest or experience in Mammography to join our close-knit imaging team. If you're passionate about women's health, patient-centered care, and meaningful work, this role is for you.

Position Summary

This position is mammography-focused , with a requirement to support additional imaging modalities.

You will:

- Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams

- Educate and support patients through often stressful or emotional appointments

- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity throughout the exam process

- Collaborate closely with radiologists and providers to deliver accurate, timely results

- Maintain compliance with radiation safety and quality standards

- Prepare and assist patients for mammography and other imaging procedures as assigned

Key Responsibilities

- Position patients accurately for mammographic imaging

- Select appropriate technical factors to produce optimal images

- Operate mammography and radiologic imaging equipment safely and effectively

- Provide radiation protection in accordance with safety standards

- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records

- Practice infection control and sterile techniques

- Support a culture of patient-centered care, safety, and teamwork

- Participate in on-call coverage for modalities in which you are trained, as needed

- Pursue continuing education and complete required training on time

Qualifications

- ARRT certification required (Mammography certification preferred or willingness to obtain)

- Washington State Radiologic Technologist license in good standing

- Current CPR certification

- Commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care

- Strong communication and teamwork skills
