**We are looking for a new Analyst/Associate to join our Corporate Finance team in Amsterdam**.

Tasks

* Actively identifying and assessing potential target investment companies
* Conduct thorough research on selected target companies, including financial (modelling), strategic, and competitor analysis
* Analysis, preparation and drafting presentations of company profiles, market and sector reports, information memorandums and transaction documentation (for sell- and buy-side purposes)
* Collaborate with senior team members in marketing and origination activities
* Assist in preparing historical and projected financial statements
* Analysis of financial implications of mergers and acquisitions
* Conduct valuation analysis

Requirements

* An effective team player and highly motivated self-starter with strong communication skills, tenacity and market research skills
* Excellent Dutch & English language skills (written & spoken)
* Outstanding interpersonal, presentational, adaptability and time management skills
* Strong academics, with a completed university degree in fields such as Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business or a science study with financial affinity
* Previous experience with exposure to transactions from within Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Consulting or Private Equity. Operational/in-house experience will also be considered
* Strong knowledge of finance and accounting
* Highly proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills
