Job Overview

Join a well-established private cardiology group with a track record of success. We are seeking a   Registered Vascular Technologist   to join our growing team. This position is weekdays only, no weekends or on call.

Responsibilities

- Perform vascular studies as ordered by physicians, in accordance with established practices and procedures.

- Perform imaging at benchmark standards.

- Communicate and prepare patient regarding study while considering the needs of the patient.

- Process preliminary study reports to be reviewed by reading physicians in an accurate and timely manner.

- Demonstrate exceptional care and compassion in all patient interactions.

Education, Requirements and Qualifications

- Graduate of a formal Vascular Technology program.

- Recent completion of accredited certification by ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS).

- Minimum 2 years’ experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Ability to perform quality and complete vascular studies using 2D, color and Doppler.

- Knowledge of EHR systems.

- Able to work independently and set priorities.

- Maintain strict confidentiality.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.

- Finger dexterity to perform duties such as typing or writing.

- Ability to speak and hear.

- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
