Job Summary

SyBridge  Technologies is  seeking  a skilled and experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to support our machining and manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for an individual with strong technical  expertise in operating and setting up CNC lathe equipment within a precision-driven environment. The CNC Lathe Machinist plays a key role in producing high-quality components that meet engineering specifications and production timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Import, manipulate, and process 3D models.

- Machine steel with close attention to health and safety requirements.

- Use tools and machinery provided; program, setup and  operate  the CNC machine using  FeatureCam  /  PowerMill .

- Machine mold plates, components,  cores  and cavities; holding tolerances as tight as less than 0.0005.

- Verify dimensions of machined parts using precision measuring instruments/probe to ensure first time quality.

- Complete checklists and report deviations from specified tolerances.

- Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs using provided paper and/or electronic logs.

- Assist  in the repair of machine tools and parts, as needed.

- Maintain safe operations by keeping work area clean and organized and by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

- Maintain the equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions,  initiating  repair work orders, etc.

- Participate in required meetings and training, as requested.

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent is  required .

- Three (3) years of related experience operating CNC .

- Three (3) years’ experience programming CNC machines (3-AXIS,  MasterCam  software is an asset) .

- Lathe experience .

- Ability to  operate  multiple machines at a time and work in a team environment .

- Ability to perform under pressure and work independently .

- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as  required .

- Ability to ensure quality standards are met .

- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills .

- Proficient in time management and communication skills .
