Maintenance Technician III

Cat-i Glass is looking for an advanced technician who can independently troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, keeping operations running safely and efficiently.

Cat-i Glass participates in E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility after hire.

Core Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment failures

- Repair and replace motors, contactors, and machine components

- Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings

- Fabricate parts and perform welding repairs

- Identify root causes of equipment failures

- Coordinate repairs to minimize equipment downtime

Required Skills

- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

- Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems

- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

- Ability to perform welding or fabrication tasks

Preferred Skills

- Experience with predictive maintenance programs

- Experience leading small repair projects

Work Order System

- Ability to read, update, and close work orders using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)

- Accurately document maintenance activities, parts used, and downtime causes

- Follow digital preventive maintenance schedules and ensure work orders are completed properly

Safety Expectations

- Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times

- Comply with OSHA safety standards applicable to maintenance work

- Use required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and other equipment as needed

- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures when servicing or repairing equipment

- Report safety hazards, near misses, or unsafe conditions immediately
