Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Rig Welders to support upcoming work at  CNRL.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform GTAW and SMAW welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping systems.

- Complete pipe fit-up, spool fabrication, and welding in accordance with project specifications.

- Read and interpret isometric drawings and welding procedures.

- Maintain quality workmanship while meeting project schedules and client requirements.

- Ensure welding equipment and rig are maintained in safe working condition.

- Follow all site safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

- Work collaboratively with supervisors, pipefitters, and other trades on site.

Qualifications

- Alberta Journeyperson Welder Certificate.

- Interprovincial Red Seal Certification considered an asset.

- Must provide fully equipped welding rig suitable for industrial site work.

- F3/F4 (SMAW)
F6 (GTAW)
F6/F4 (GTAW/SMAW)

- Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping systems.

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Schedule:  Rotation details to be provided during the hiring process.

- Employment Type:  Full-Time, Project-Based with additional scopes with long term work
