About this role
The AI/ML & Automation Development Engineer joining our Automation Engineering team will support the Sherman Wafer Fabrication facility. In this role, he or she will develop and deploy Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and advanced data analytics solutions to improve manufacturing performance while designing, implementing, and supporting Factory Automation, Advanced Process Control (APC), and Fault Detection & Classification (FDC) solutions across the fab.
The Automation Engineer will work on projects that address customer requirements and solve complex manufacturing challenges related to yield improvement, process stability, equipment performance, throughput, and cycle time. Leveraging manufacturing data from process and metrology systems, equipment sensors, and factory automation platforms, this engineer will develop intelligent, data-driven solutions while supporting and enhancing APC/FDC and SECS/GEM for ne incoming tools fab-wide.
