Polisher and Deburrer

At WALCO Tool & Engineering, we build high precision components – and we rely on great people that take pride in quality and craftsmanship. We are looking for a polisher/deburrer to join our team.

What You'll Do:

- Polish stainless steel weldments to blend welds and establish grain direction utilizing handheld power tools, files and abrasive products

- Smooth and finish sharp machined edges on parts made from stainless steel, common steel, aluminum and plastics

- Grind, sand, clean or polish parts to fix imperfections

- Use hand and power tools to file and shape grooved or contoured surfaces so they match blueprints specifications

- Stamping part numbers on parts

- Packaging parts to prevent damage in shipment

- Assemble machined components to customer's specifications

What We're Looking for:

- Hands on experience working with your hands in finesse work such as auto body, carpentry, metal polishing, deburring, etc.

- High sense of urgency and ability to multi-task

- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn quickly

- Strong work ethic and highly motivated

- Ability to follow written instructions

- Capability to read blueprints

- Ability to physically lift/push/pull objects up to 40 lbs.

Compensation and schedule:

- $21-25 per hour, based on experience with opportunities for overtime

- Monday through Friday 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM or 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
