We're looking for a detail-oriented, knowledgeable Lawn Care Specialist to help our clients achieve healthy, beautiful lawns through expert turf and plant health care.

About the Role
As a Lawn Care Specialist, you'll be responsible for applying fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and other turf and ornamental treatments on residential and commercial properties. You'll diagnose lawn and plant health issues, apply the right treatment plan, and help protect and grow Blackjack's reputation for quality care.

What You'll Do

- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other chemical treatments to lawns and landscape beds

- Identify weeds, pests, diseases, and other turf/plant health issues, and recommend appropriate treatment

- Calibrate and operate application equipment (spreaders, sprayers, etc.) accurately and safely

- Follow all label instructions and state/federal regulations for chemical application

- Maintain accurate application records, including product, rate, and location applied

- Communicate professionally with clients regarding treatment plans and lawn/plant health

- Maintain and care for application equipment and vehicles

- Report any property or safety concerns to your supervisor

- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE

What We're Looking For

- 2+ years of experience in lawn care required

- Valid Pesticide Applicator License/Certification preferred

- Knowledge of common turf, weed, and pest identification a plus

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise application instructions

- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

- Reliable, punctual, and a strong communicator
