The Role
The Assistant Financial Controller supports the Finance Director with the effective day to day running of the finance function to the client. This is a hands-on role focused on supporting the production of accurate financial information, maintaining strong financial controls and ensuring key finance processes are completed accurately and on time.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting Month-End & Management Accounts
- Financial Control (Execution)
- Cashflow & Working Capital
- Transactional Finance (Oversight & Delivery)
- Finance Systems & Process Improvement
- Business Support
- Comply with the Organization's Information Security Management System (ISMS), including all applicable information security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines .
Your Qualifications
- Good Excel skills, including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS and basic data analysis.
- Experience using Sage.
- Good attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work independently on assigned responsibilities while knowing when to escalate issues to the Finance Director.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
