About this role
Shift: One week of 7am -3pm: Mon -Fri, then a week of 3pm – 11pm: Mon - Fri, and rotate that schedule every other week.
Leads shift activities in the operation of automated and manual thin film coating chambers. Programs design sequencing for evaporation requirements. Monitors the evaporation process for precise end points of multiple thin film coating layers. Oversees the operation of all TFP volume standard and nonstandard coating chambers through for proper setup, tear downs, operational modes and miscellaneous setup maintenance. Documents in detail all evaporation data, relaying abnormalities to shift lead and/or supervisor. Works as a team player supporting all shift work activities. Trains new employees and audits the procedures of other technicians on the shift. Coordinates production schedules to assure operation efficiencies are met. With supervisor, conducts employee appraisals for assigned shift technicians.
