Experienced Canon Colorado Printer Operator (2nd Shift)

Location: Carlstadt, NJ    
Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Canon Colorado Printer Operator to join our production team on the evening shift. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating Canon Colorado printers, strong knowledge of the Caldera RIP software, and the ability to manage multiple machines in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor Canon Colorado printers to ensure high-quality output and production efficiency.

- Utilize Caldera software for job setup, color management, workflow control, and print production.

- Manage workflow across 4 to 5 production machines simultaneously while maintaining quality standards and meeting deadlines.

- Load, unload, and handle large media rolls and substrates safely.

- Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality checks.

- Prioritize multiple jobs and adapt to changing production schedules.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job status and production needs.

Qualifications

- Previous experience operating Canon Colorado printers required.

- Proficiency with Caldera RIP software required.

- Experience in large-format digital printing preferred.

- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy media rolls and materials.

- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Reliable attendance and ability to work the 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM shift consistently.
