Job Purpose:
- The HR Generalist is responsible for managing and overseeing various human resources functions within the organization. This role involves implementing HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive work environment. The HR Generalist serves as a key point of contact for employees and management, providing guidance on HR-related issues and supporting the overall strategic objectives of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and execute HR programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Conduct recruitment efforts for all personnel, including writing and placing job advertisements, conducting interviews, and coordinating the hiring process.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures.
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits, and organizing team-building activities.
- Ensure the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
- Proven experience in handling employee relations and managing HR operations.
- Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with HR software and systems for managing employee records and payroll.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of HR principles, labor laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with employees and management.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management software.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to address and resolve employee issues efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
