Position Summary

ProcessBarron is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Steam Turbine Aftermarket Parts Specialist to support the continued growth of our Steam Turbine Aftermarket Parts business. This position serves as the primary technical resource for aftermarket parts opportunities by identifying customer needs, developing accurate quotations and proposals, and supporting Regional Sales Managers throughout the sales process.

The ideal candidate will possess strong steam turbine product knowledge, commercial awareness, and excellent communication skills. This individual will work closely with customers and internal teams to provide timely, cost-effective aftermarket solutions while supporting revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Steam Turbine Aftermarket Sales Support
Support Regional Sales Managers in identifying and developing aftermarket sales opportunities.
Review equipment sales records, inspection reports, and customer information to identify replacement part opportunities.
Assist in developing customer-specific aftermarket sales strategies.
Participate in customer meetings and provide technical support as needed.
Support opportunity qualification and lead generation efforts.
Quotation & Proposal Development
Prepare accurate quotations for steam turbine replacement parts and related services.
Develop professional customer proposals and supporting documentation.
Interpret customer drawings, bill of materials (BOMs), and technical documentation.
Coordinate pricing and proposal development with sourcing, engineering, estimating, and operations teams.
Ensure quotations and proposals are competitive, complete, and technically accurate.
Maintain proposal and opportunity documentation in accordance with company standards.
Technical Product Support
Provide technical assistance regarding steam turbine components and systems.
Recommend replacement parts based on equipment condition and customer requirements.
Identify equivalent aftermarket solutions when OEM components are unavailable.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding turbine components and replacement options.
Coordinate with engineering and technical teams when custom solutions are required.
Supplier & Vendor Management
Develop and maintain relationships with qualified aftermarket suppliers.
Source OEM and non-OEM replacement components.
Evaluate supplier capabilities, pricing, and lead times.
Support supplier qualification and performance review activities.
Opportunity Management
Maintain accurate opportunity information within CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
Manage opportunities throughout all stages of the sales cycle.
Coordinate follow-up efforts with Regional Sales Managers.
Track quotation activity and monitor customer feedback.
Support opportunity closure through proactive customer communication.
Ensure smooth transition from quotation to order execution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Engineering, Estimating, Purchasing, Operations, Project Management, and Sales teams.
Support internal training initiatives related to steam turbine aftermarket products and services.
Share technical knowledge and best practices with internal stakeholders.
Assist in developing standard work processes and technical documentation.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Required Education
High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred Education
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or a related field.
Required Experience
5+ years of experience in:
Steam turbine aftermarket parts
Proposal and quotation development
Customer relationship management
Microsoft Office applications
CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
Preferred Experience
OEM or independent steam turbine service organizations.
Industrial power generation environments.
Engineering or technical sales support roles.

Ability to safely perform all assigned duties.
Primarily office-based work environment with periodic travel to customer facilities.
Ability to walk throughout industrial facilities, including stairs and elevated platforms.
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when visiting customer sites.
Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to travel 35-40% as required.
Ability to work in industrial environments that may include exposure to noise, dust, heat, and other plant conditions.
