About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated  NPI Technical Project Leader  to lead the New Product Introduction (NPI) of automotive communication modules.

In this role, you will work closely with  global Tier 1 customers, leading automotive OEMs, technology partners, and our manufacturing sites  to bring new products from concept and development into mass production.

You will be the key technical interface between customers, partners, R&D, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams. From  pre-NPI experiments and validation, process parameter definition, pilot production, yield improvement, to mass production readiness , you will lead the team to identify and solve technical challenges and ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead NPI projects for automotive communication module products from  early development through mass production readiness .
- Work closely with  global Tier 1 customers, automotive OEMs, and technology partners  to understand technical requirements and drive project execution.
- Lead system integration, technical planning, validation, testing, and product/process readiness during the NPI stage.
- Coordinate and manage  pre-NPI experiments, engineering validation, testing, and process verification  to ensure product and process requirements are met.
- Work with R&D, process engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other cross-functional teams to define and optimize  manufacturing parameters and process conditions  before mass production.
- Drive  SIP module assembly process development, optimization, and yield improvement , identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions. SIP module assembly process including ball mount, SMT and underfill.
- Lead technical problem-solving and risk management throughout the NPI process, ensuring issues are clearly analyzed, prioritized, and closed on schedule.
- Coordinate closely with  overseas manufacturing sites, particularly the Vietnam factory , to ensure effective technical communication, project execution, and production readiness.
- Act as a key technical contact point between  customers, partners, internal engineering teams, and factories , facilitating clear and effective communication.
- Lead cross-functional project teams, establish priorities and action plans, track project milestones, and drive results.
- Support customer technical meetings, project reviews, issue resolution, and product/process discussions in English.
- Ensure successful transition from NPI to mass production by establishing  product, process, quality, and manufacturing readiness .

Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or above in  Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering , or a related technical field.
- Experience in  NPI, technical project management, manufacturing engineering, product engineering, or related roles , preferably within the automotive electronics industry.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in  automotive electronics, communication modules, module/package technology, or related products .
- Familiarity with  SMT manufacturing processes , process optimization, yield improvement, and production problem-solving.
- Experience in product  validation, testing, engineering verification, and manufacturing process development  during NPI is highly preferred.
- Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills, with the ability to drive projects from  zero-to-one development through mass production .
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with  customers, partners, internal teams, and overseas factories .
- Fluent English communication skills  in both verbal and written communication are required.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, with the ability to break down complex technical problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
- Strong teamwork and leadership mindset, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive people toward a common goal.
- Strong ownership and  results-oriented mindset ; able to proactively identify issues, make decisions, and drive actions to completion.
- Willingness to collaborate with and support  overseas manufacturing operations , including Vietnam.
