WHAT WILL YOU DO?

- Act as the appointed Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) under the PMLFTR and FIAU Implementing Procedures, and as the Company’s designated contact person with the FIAU and MGA on AML/CFT matters.

- Ensure the Company remains compliant with all relevant AML/CFT laws, regulations, regulatory requirements and guidance.

- Take ownership of designing, implementing, reviewing and maintaining the Company’s AML/CFT policies and procedures, including the Business Risk Assessment (BRA) and Customer Risk Assessment (CRA).

- Analyse risks identified through audits and risk assessments, implement appropriate control mechanisms, and ensure remediation actions are completed within agreed timelines.

- Take responsibility for AML/CFT regulatory reporting, including the preparation and submission of the Risk Evaluation Questionnaire (REQ) and other required regulatory submissions.

- Provide regular AML/CFT updates to senior management, including during monthly management meetings and quarterly Board meetings.

- Receive, review and assess internal suspicious transaction/activity reports and determine the appropriate course of action.

- Ensure suspicious transactions and activities are reported to the Financial Intelligence Analysis Unit (FIAU) accurately and within the required timeframes.

- Liaise and cooperate with the FIAU, MGA and other relevant regulatory authorities in a professional and timely manner.

- Support and oversee relevant aspects of internal and external audits and regulatory reviews relating to AML/CFT.

- Work with relevant internal teams to ensure systems, controls and operational processes remain aligned with AML/CFT requirements and Company policies.

- Provide AML/CFT guidance and recommendations to the business, including identifying opportunities to strengthen existing systems, controls and procedures.

- Maintain appropriate AML/CFT records and documentation in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements.

- Undertake any other duties reasonably required by the Company from time to time.

WHO ARE YOU?

- Previous experience in an MLRO, Deputy MLRO, senior AML/Compliance or similar role is essential.

- Strong working knowledge of relevant AML/CFT legislation and regulations, particularly the FIAU Implementing Procedures (IPs), Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), Prevention of Money Laundering and Funding of Terrorism Regulations (PMLFTR), and applicable Anti-Money Laundering Directives (AMLD).

- Relevant qualifications or professional certifications in AML, compliance, law, risk, finance or a related field.

- Good understanding of the iGaming industry and its associated AML/CFT risks.

- Familiarity with regulated markets would be considered an asset.

- Experience in risk management, regulatory reporting and AML/CFT risk assessments would be considered an asset.

- Excellent communication skills for both internal and external interactions.
