Role Overview:
As a Content Creator, you will design and produce the written and visual materials that help John Deere platform users understand and adopt the platform — from step-by-step guides to social media content and in-platform content — helping scale onboarding, usage, and training beyond what field visits alone can cover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create written and visual content explaining platform features, workflows, and best practices (guides, FAQs, one-pagers, social media posts, in-app messages, etc.).
- Work together with the team to prioritize content based on the adoption roadmap and gaps identified in the field.
- Design visual pieces (graphics, carousels, presentations) aligned with brand and communication guidelines.
- Collaborate with the team on multi-format campaigns (for example, a written guide paired with a complementary video).
- Keep content up to date as the platform evolves, flagging outdated materials and proposing updates.
- Help organize and maintain a content library/help center.
- Gather feedback from users and the Field Adoption team to identify new content opportunities.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in content creation, copywriting, or graphic design, ideally in tech, SaaS, or agtech.
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for a broad audience.
- Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
- Comfortable working with content calendars and iterative feedback.
Nice to have
- General knowledge of agriculture or interest in agtech.
- Experience creating onboarding or educational/training content.
- Basic video editing skills.
