What You Will Do:

- Silverware & Flatware Polishing: Inspect washed forks, knives, and spoons; steam and polish them using clean microfiber cloths or run them through a commercial grain/cutlery polisher machine.

- Glassware Care: Steam and hand-polish wine glasses, water goblets, and bar glassware using lint-free polishing towels to guarantee crystal-clear presentation.

- Buffing & Sorting: Sort polished items by type, check for remaining water spots or chips, roll silverware into napkins (if required), and restock service stations for servers.

- Copper, Brass & Wood Maintenance: Periodically polish decorative brass fixtures, copper serving trays, or wood accent tables using food-safe polishing compounds during pre-service prep.

- Sanitation & Station Setup: Keep the polishing area clean, organized, and stocked with clean microfiber towels, hot water baths, or steaming equipment throughout the shift.

Qualifications

Who We Are Looking For

- Previous restaurant experience (as a busser, dishwasher, or runner) is a plus, but entry-level candidates with high attention to detail are welcome.

- Fast, efficient hand movements with low breakage rates on delicate glass.

- Strong visual acuity to detect faint water spots, streaks, or cracks.

- Ability to work rhythmically under fast-paced, high-volume dining room rushes.

- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for 6–10 hours, perform repetitive wrist and hand motions, and safely handle delicate crystal and hot glassware.
