About this role

Overview

A private and busy family is seeking an experienced, Spanish speaking Nanny for two older children, ages 2 and 4. The role is primarily based in Puerto Rico , with regular travel to Florida and occasional travel to New York as the family relocates throughout the year. This is a one month on/one month off live-in rotational schedule, and the nanny will work alongside a team of three additional nannies who accommodate the rotation.

Location & Travel

- Primary base: Dorado Beach, Puerto Rico

- Regular travel: Florida (Ormond Beach/Orlando area)

- Occasional travel: New York, NY

- Must hold a valid passport/ID for domestic travel and be available to travel with the family on short notice

Schedule

- Rotational schedule: one month on-duty (live-in), one month off

- Full-time, live-in during on-duty rotations

- Flexibility for occasional evenings/weekends as family schedule requires

Responsibilities

Daily Care

- Provide full-time care and supervision for both children during on-duty rotations

- Support daily routines: meals, hygiene, naps/bedtime, and age-appropriate activities

- Prepare healthy meals and snacks, accommodating any dietary needs or restrictions

- Manage children's laundry and clothing organization

- Administer medications as directed and maintain basic first aid readiness

Education & Development

- Speak Spanish with the children daily and actively teach/reinforce Spanish language skills as part of a bilingual upbringing

- Plan and lead age-appropriate educational and recreational activities

- Assist with homework, school pickup/drop-off, and coordination with teachers as needed

- Track and communicate developmental milestones to parents

- Enforce age-appropriate discipline and behavioral guidance consistent with parents' wishes

- Monitor and manage screen time and device use according to family guidelines

Safety & Logistics

- Ensure children's safety at all times, including during travel between properties

- Schedule and accompany children to medical, dental, and extracurricular appointments

- Pack and prepare bags for outings, school, and travel

- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment, including sanitizing toys and play areas

- Supervise playdates, outings, and travel activities

Coordination

- Communicate regularly with parents regarding the children's development, needs, and daily activities

- Coordinate with household staff and family regarding schedules, travel, and logistics

- Step in to support other household staff or additional nannies during transitions and handoffs

Qualifications

- Calm, confident, easygoing, and proactive

- Proactive and energetic to get the children out of the house daily

- Close attention to detail and an excellent communicator

- Easily go with the flow and okay with last-minute changes

- Early childhood education background or certification

- Experience with bilingual/immersion childcare

- Swimming and comfort around water is a hugly perferred

Requirements

- Fluent Spanish speaker (native or near-native fluency required)

- Proven experience as a nanny or childcare provider, ideally in a private household setting

- Current CPR certification required (Pediatric/Infant CPR preferred)

- Willingness and ability to travel between Puerto Rico, Florida, and New York

- Flexible to a one month on / one month off live-in rotation

- Valid driver's license

- Strong references from prior families/employers

- Background check required

- Excellent communication and discretion working within a private household

Salary and Benefits

- $125-150k per year

- Health beneifts in Puerto Rico

- Accommodations, flights, and ground transportation (Uber) are provided by the principals
