Required Skills:
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Production fullstack experience spanning backend services and REST APIs, relational data modeling and SQL, and modern frontend development (e.g., React/TypeScript)
- Working proficiency in Python for services, libraries, and tooling
- Ability to work directly with users to turn ambiguous engineering workflows into simple, reliable interfaces
- Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership: a quick learner who is eager to take responsibility and drive projects forward end to end
Preferred Skills:
- Experience building interactive or visual web-based tooling, such as canvas, WebGL, Electron, or map- and geometry-based editing
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD for deploying and operating web services
- Experience presenting large datasets, time-series, or log data behind responsive interfaces
- Experience building user behavior tracking and analysis into web products: instrumenting frontend/backend telemetry, and analyzing usage data to guide product iteration.
- Experience with autonomous vehicles, robotics, or simulation and scenario-based testing
- Experience with data visualization at scale
