Introduction to Multi Asset Strategies & Solutions Group

The Multi-Asset Strategies & Solutions (MASS) team is the investment group at the heart of BlackRock's portfolio construction, asset allocation, and active management ecosystem. MASS draws on the full toolkit of the firm’s index, factor, and alpha-seeking investment capabilities to deliver investment outcomes and ground - breaking alpha insights. MASS constructs active asset allocation strategies and whole portfolio solutions across a wide spectrum of commingled funds, separate accounts, model portfolios, and outsourcing solutions in the wealth and institutional channels.

Role Description & Responsibilities

MASS is looking for a motivated individual to join our   growing   EMEA   Solutions   team based   in   Budapest . Th e Solutions   team designs, implements, and leads on all aspects of portfolio construction and asset allocation to solve our client s ’   investment challenges. The team covers   designing wholistic   portfolio   solutions   for large   asset   owners and financial institutions ,   including   tailored investment mandates oriented around client outcomes.

Responsibilities

- Support   the design, implementation ,   and ongoing management of portfolio solutions for existing and prospective clients   to   understand and   meet their unique   objectives   and constraints.   Keep up to date with   client trends,   industry news, events, research, and regulations and ensure these are reflected in solution design.

- Perform investment analysis, provide insights, and contribute to decision-making across all stages of the investment process, including strategic and tactical asset allocation, manager selection and sizing, portfolio implementation, performance measurement and attribution, risk budgeting, and risk management.   Support the delivery of high-quality investment outcomes across the client book while seeking opportunities to streamline workflows.

- Contribute to the   development and   ongoing enhancement of portfolio construction tools, analytics, and investment processes.   Identify   opportunities to drive scale, improve efficiency, and strengthen data quality by developing and implementing technology-enabled solutions where   relevant .

- Collaborat e   with   a range of internal   partner   teams   to deliver   the best possible   client investment outcomes,   including portfolio construction researchers, implementation specialists, manager researchers, risk managers, asset class specialist investment teams , and technology partners   w here   appropriate .

- Drive the continuous evolution of the investment process by seeking opportunities to improve analytical frameworks, challenge existing approaches, and introduce new investment ideas, tools, and technologies that enhance the consistency, efficiency, and scalability of portfolio construction .

- Actively   participate   in   cross-team research initiatives to   generate and   explore new investment ideas.  Collaborate   with   multiple   team members   across multiple   priorities   to see   ideas   through to completion and implementation in client portfolios.

- Support our   commercial   growth targets by   supplying   investment content to RFP responses, pitch materials, marketing   materials   and other external   client   communications.

Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum of   3   years’   proven   experience   within financial services or asset management , preferably across multiple asset classes and investment subject areas

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with   the   desire   to solve investment problems and translate analysis into practical insights. Demonstrated   experience   in improving processes, analytics, and workflows through technology .   Coding skills and/or knowledge of Aladdin, Morningstar, Bloomberg, Tableau, VBA, SQL, and/or Python   is   expected , with a willingness to further develop these skills to enhance portfolio construction capabilities .

- Solid understanding of financial markets, investments ( i.e.   Fixed Income, Equities, Alternatives) and key financial concepts ( such as   asset allocation, risk analytics, performance,   attribution   etc.)

- CFA   and/or CAIA encouraged but not   required .

- Consistent   track   record   of academic achievement, work   ethic , and leadership .

- Fluent in English with e xcellent communication skills ,   able to communicate   effectively   with a range of internal and external   partners ,   and ab le   to explain complex topics to non- investment   individuals , both verbally and in writing.

- Curious self-starter   passionate   about execution with results-oriented work ethic and professional disposition .

- Strong teammate who takes a collaborative and cooperative approach to tasks ,   experienced   working with   multiple   partners   to   deliver on projects on time and to a high   standard ,   but   can work independently .

- Organized and   thorough , able to   prioriti s e   and multi-task quickly efficiently, adapting to new situations in a fast-paced   environment.

- Being a strong fiduciary by ensuring the highest level of integrity and professionalism in every aspect of performance .


The salary range for Hungary is 13400000 - 20100000 HUF
Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
