Medior Mould Engineer

Ready to lead and innovate in the mould engineering field? As a Senior Mould Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in optimizing production processes and implementing advanced solutions.

About the role

You’re responsible for delivering multiple (sub-) mould engineering projects within the Production, Development, and Engineering domains, from initial specifications through to production, leveraging high-level technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

- Participate in and coordinate mould engineering and feasibility projects across Development, Engineering, and Production , from specification to production, supporting product development, quality improvement, and performance optimization.
- Provide technical expertise while defining action plans , managing budgets and investments , coordinating project stakeholders, and ensuring delivery within timelines and budget constraints .
- Analyze and resolve mould engineering issues , collaborating with internal teams and external partners to implement sustainable process improvements .
- Monitor advances in product development, mould design, and injection moulding technologies to maintain state-of-the-art capabilities , and build a strong external expert network .
- Maintain technical documentation in compliance with company quality standards and systems .
- Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations .

Requirements

What we're looking for

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer or an equivalent experience level, with:

- Technical knowledge in injection moulding : engineering, process, machines, and auxiliary equipment.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in English, Dutch would be a big plus.
- A team player with a keen eye for continuous improvement and innovation .
