Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Engineer with hands-on experience in Ansible automation , REST API development/integration , and scripting for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing automation solutions, integrating systems, building scalable APIs, and supporting infrastructure automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and automation frameworks.

- Develop, consume, and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems.

- Create and manage Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation workflows for infrastructure and application deployment.

- Automate repetitive operational tasks and improve system efficiency through scripting.

- Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Development teams to streamline deployment processes.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation, integrations, and application performance.

- Implement logging, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms in automation solutions.

- Maintain technical documentation for scripts, APIs, and automation processes.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

- Strong experience in Python programming .

- Hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform .

- Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs .

- Good understanding of API authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2, JWT, API Keys, and Basic Authentication.

- Knowledge of JSON, YAML, XML, and data parsing techniques.

- Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Understanding of Linux/Unix systems and Shell scripting.

- Experience with debugging, testing, and performance tuning.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

- Exposure to Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Familiarity with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or other deployment tools.

- Understanding of monitoring tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

- Relevant certifications in Python, Ansible, Cloud, or DevOps will be an added advantage.
