Job Description:

Entegris is currently seeking a  Lead,   Site EHS   to join our  Environmental Health &   Safety   team . This position will be based  in  our  Chaska, MN  facility.

The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Lead is a key site leader responsible for advancing a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory excellence at the Entegris Chaska facility. This role provides strategic direction, technical   expertise , and day-to-day oversight of EHS programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate standards, and industry best practices. The EHS Lead develops, implements, and continuously improves systems and programs that protect employees, support operational   objectives , and drive sustainable business performance. Through a data-driven approach, this position proactively   identifies   risks,   monitors   leading and lagging indicators,   establishes   performance metrics, and implements corrective actions to achieve world-class EHS results.

As a visible champion of operational excellence and employee engagement, the EHS Lead leads site-wide initiatives including regulatory compliance, environmental programs, hazardous waste management, training, audits, inspections, incident investigations, and emergency response activities. This role partners closely with site leadership, employees, and cross-functional teams to build a proactive, accountable, and solution-oriented culture focused on injury prevention, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement. Success requires a strong leadership presence, the ability to influence all levels of the organization, and the flexibility to support a 24/7 manufacturing environment while driving initiatives that advance Entegris’ commitment to an injury-free workplace, environmental responsibility, and industry-leading EHS performance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Deliver hands-on EHS training and coaching to managers, supervisors, and employees to reinforce safe work practices and ensure compliance.

- Serve as the site’s EHS   subject matter expert , overseeing day-to-day compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.

- Support   incident investigations and site inspections,   assist   in   identify ing   root causes and risks, and drive   timely   corrective actions.

- Maintain a visible presence on the production floor to   identify   hazards, address   safety   and environmental concerns, and reinforce safe behaviors.

- Partner with   facilities,   engineering ,   and operations on new projects and process changes to   identify   EHS risks, implement   appropriate controls , and obtain required environmental permits .     This would include   participation in   MOC, FMEA, PSSR , etc.

- Manage environmental compliance programs, including air, water, and waste, along with required monitoring, recordkeeping, and reporting.

- Support regulatory inspections and serve as the primary contact for agency inquiries, ensuring   timely   and   accurate   responses.

- Track and review EHS performance metrics to   identify   trends and drive continuous improvement.

- Maintain   any required corporate   management system   activities , including internal audits and ongoing improvements.

- Maintain an annual budget for EHS needs including forecasting for capital expenditures to ensure continuous reduction of risk.

- Build strong working relationships across the site to promote accountability, collaboration, and a culture of safety and environmental responsibility .

WHAT WE SEEK:

- Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety , Science, Engineering, or a related EHS discipline   required .

- Minimum of   7   years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment   ( 10+ years preferred), with   demonstrated   leadership responsibilities.

- Hands-on experience managing both safety and environmental compliance programs, including air, water, and hazardous waste regulations.

- Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, and applicable state requirements).

- Experience supporting environmental permitting, reporting, and regulatory inspections strongly preferred.

- Experience   with   hazardous materials/chemical safety management.

- Proven ability to lead incident investigations,   identify   root cause (s) , and implement effective corrective   and preventive   actions.

- Demonstrated   success   developing, implementing, and improving EHS programs in an operational environment.

- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels and build effective working relationships.

- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements into practical guidance.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to interpret regulations and apply sound, practical solutions.

- Ability   to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

- Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, or similar are a   significant   plus.

Additional Information:

- The   EHS   Lead   role   has the potential for   supporting   additional   sites based on performance and/or need.

- T his is a dedicated on-site position requiring consistent presence to support site operations, employee interactions, and EHS initiatives.

- Plastics exp erience preferred such as molding

- Non negotiables   this is not a remote position, must be on site to support a high functioning manufacturing facility

- Compensation: $ 125,000 - $ 145,000   per   year   with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
