## The team
Kraken is expanding its product team! This is an incredible opportunity to join a market leader in the hottest global industry. With growth rates and innovation opportunities not seen since the early internet days, Kraken is positioned to win. This role will be responsible for a critical aspect of the business and will play a significant role expanding Kraken’s business, while working alongside the brightest minds in the crypto industry. This position will be a cornerstone of the product team working with internal and external engineers and technologists, designers, business leadership, partners and customers. We are building a product team of highly motivated self-starters who possess sound business acumen, make data-driven decisions, and clearly communicate their vision and plans to others. We are seeking people who are professional but know how to have fun too!
Responsibilities include product expertise, the creation of product requirements, project schedules and supporting materials in partnership with design, content, technology and service teams. The product manager provides day-to-day cross-functional leadership to ensure the timely delivery of projects which meet established feature, usability, content and quality requirements.
The successful candidate should thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, process-driven environment and be able to adapt and adjust plans on-the-fly. The position requires interaction with a wide variety of internal stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
## The opportunity
- Shape and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for your area, translating company goals and customer needs into a prioritised, outcomes-driven roadmap
- Drive cross-functional delivery across engineering, design, marketing, and operations — leading through influence to ship high-quality products with pace and conviction
- Own your product area end-to-end, making prioritisation calls on features and improvements based on customer insight, market signals, and business objectives
- Manage the full product lifecycle from discovery and ideation through to launch, post-launch iteration, and long-term ownership
- Synthesise market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation in the crypto space
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to define product requirements and align on priorities, balancing speed with strategic intent
- Present product strategy, performance insights, and data-driven investment recommendations to senior leadership with clarity and conviction
- Define, track, and report on product performance metrics, using data to drive continuous improvement and hold yourself accountable to outcomes

- Obsessive product sense with a consumer-first mindset — you sweat the details of every user interaction, use data to diagnose friction, and have an unrelenting drive to make experiences simpler, faster, and more intuitive
- Capable and calculated risk-taker — you make bold product bets with conviction, move fast when the signal is there, and treat setbacks as learning opportunities rather than reasons to slow down
- Deep technical fluency — you are comfortable in the weeds of system architecture, understand Web3 and on-chain fundamentals, can read and dabble in code, and do not leave hard technical problems solely to engineering
- Proven stakeholder management skills, with experience navigating competing priorities and driving alignment in a dynamic, regulated environment
- Macro-to-micro versatility: the ability to hold and defend a strategic view while staying close enough to the detail to make good product decisions
- Well-rounded interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust quickly across diverse, distributed teams
- Mission alignment: this is essential for all Krakenites and we expect our people to champion our mission, along with our vision and values
- 4+ years of product management experience with a clear track record of shipping meaningful consumer-facing products, and prior crypto, Web3, trading, gaming or banking experience is required
