DEPUTY/ MANAGER, LAND

[What you will be working on]

- Lead and oversee the end-to-end planning, coordination, and management of land acquisition and securing of land for transport infrastructure projects.
- Provide advice and recommendations on land-related matters, including budgeting, cost management, and compliance with regulatory policies and development guidelines, escalating issues and proposing solutions as needed.
- Work with government agencies, statutory boards, and key stakeholders to resolve land-related matters, negotiate outcomes, and advance project objectives.
- Utilize Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) to manage, analyse, and visualize spatial data related to land and infrastructure assets.
- Maintain and update land and geospatial databases, maps, and related documentations.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical direction and fostering professional development within the team.

[What we are looking for]

- Knowledge in Real Estate, Land Management, Urban Planning, Geography, Geomatics, or a related discipline.
- The ideal candidate should have at least 6–8 years of relevant experience in land management, land acquisition, or infrastructure planning, with a demonstrated track record of managing projects and leading cross-functional workstreams. Prior experience in infrastructure projects is strongly preferred.
- The candidate should be competent in interpreting spatial data and translating findings into proposals.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills are essential, as the role requires the ability to work with multiple agencies and project teams.
- The candidate should be a self-starter who can operate with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining alignment with organisational goals and senior leadership's direction.
