Senior Engineer, Global Facilities Central Engineering, Construction - Electrical

Provide electrical construction engineering support for semiconductor facility projects across the U.S. and Asia, covering the full project lifecycle from design through commissioning and handover. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards, while supporting global consistency, innovation, and sustainability.

Main Responsibilities

- Lead electrical construction engineering across project lifecycle (design, construction, commissioning, and handover)
- Drive delivery of large-scale fab projects in alignment with scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements
- Review and validate electrical engineering designs to ensure compliance with standards, codes, and project requirements
- Provide technical support to resolve construction, installation, and design issues
- Monitor construction progress and ensure timely resolution of technical challenges
- Support development of project cost estimates, schedules, and business justifications
- Coordinate consultants and contractors to ensure effective and aligned execution

Other Responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (facilities, procurement, manufacturing, operations, IT) to ensure project alignment
- Communicate project updates, risks, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership
- Identify and mitigate project risks proactively
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to development and standardization of Best Known Methods (BKMs)
- Support sustainability programs and capacity planning initiatives across sites

AI Responsibilities

- Apply AI-assisted tools to improve engineering analysis, project planning, and execution efficiency
- Identify opportunities to leverage data and AI for better decision-making and workflow optimization
- Share and adopt AI-enabled best practices to support continuous improvement

Candidate Profile / Job Requirements

Minimum Required Qualifications / Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction, Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in construction projects as an Electrical Engineer
- Experience in EPCM project environments
- Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and electrical systems design
- Experience in cost and schedule management
- Ability to work in global, multicultural teams
- Willingness to travel as required

- Electrical construction engineering and project execution expertise
- Project controls (cost, schedule, and risk management)
- Electrical system design review and compliance validation
- Technical problem-solving and root cause analysis

Must Have Soft Skills

- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Leadership and coordination across multi-disciplinary teams
- Analytical thinking and decision-making capability
- Strong organizational and planning skills

AI Requirements

- Ability to apply digital fluency and AI tools effectively for engineering analysis, reporting, and decision-making

Preferred Skills / Experience

- Experience in semiconductor or large industrial facility projects
- Experience with large-scale or greenfield construction projects
- Professional certification or membership in a recognized engineering body
- Experience working across regional or global teams
- Knowledge of sustainability practices in facilities and construction
