KBR is   seeking   an enthusiastic and experienced   Hydraulic   Modeller   to join our growing Building Services team in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, including   major   Defence   facilities and precincts , as well as commercial, industrial, and infrastructure developments that support Australia's future capability and resilience.

Working alongside experienced engineers and project leaders, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality hydraulic modelling and design solutions for complex building and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, technical challenges, and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding project outcomes.

The Opportunity

As a Hydraulic   Modeller , you will contribute to the planning,   design   and delivery of hydraulic services systems across a range of   Defence   and infrastructure projects. You will   be responsible for   the detailed modelling of services including potable water, sewer, wastewater, stormwater, hot water generation and natural gas systems, while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client requirements.

You will have the opportunity to work on projects that directly support critical   Defence   infrastructure, providing meaningful outcomes for Australian communities and national capability.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver detailed hydraulic modelling and documentation for building and infrastructure projects using   Autodesk Revit   (AutoCAD experience highly regarded).

- Support the development of hydraulic design solutions from concept through to detailed design.

- Collaborate closely with project teams,   clients   and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.

- Manage and deliver   allocated   hydraulic discipline work packages   in accordance with   project requirements.

- Ensure all work is completed to agreed standards of quality, cost and schedule.

- Apply Australian Standards,   Defence   requirements, client   specifications   and industry best practices throughout project delivery.

- Identify ,   troubleshoot   and resolve hydraulic design and coordination issues.

- Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.

- Contribute innovative ideas that improve project performance,   efficiency   and technical outcomes.

- Maintain a strong focus on safety,   quality   and continuous improvement.

- Seek guidance and support when required to ensure successful delivery outcomes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Associate Diploma, Diploma in Engineering, or a related qualification (highly regarded).

- Minimum   3 years' experience   using   Revit MEP   on hydraulic services projects.

- Demonstrated experience delivering hydraulic modelling and design within building or infrastructure environments.

- Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams.

- Strong communication   and stakeholder engagement skills.

- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment .

- A commitment to safety, environmental and quality standards.

- Australian Citizenship , with the ability to obtain and   maintain   an Australian   Defence   Security Clearance.
