Position Summary

The primary role of the Production & Assembly function is to manufacture, assemble, and package products while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence. Key deliverables include managing day-to-day production and planning activities, supporting changing business demands,   operating   and monitoring production equipment and processes, performing assembly operations, and conducting quality inspections on incoming and finished goods. Compliance with ResMed's Quality Management System, Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and regulatory requirements   is   essential.

The   Senior Production Training Coordinator   is   responsible for   developing, driving,   implementing , and continuously improving the manufacturing learning and capability framework to enhance employee competency, operational excellence, compliance, and organizational performance.   This role partners closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Human Resources teams to   identify   capability gaps,   develop competency frameworks,   develop training solutions, and ensure effective knowledge transfer across manufacturing operations.

The incumbent will   provide strategic leadership for workforce capability development by overseeing learning governance, competency management, training administration, learning effectiveness, and continuous improvement initiatives,   maintain training compliance records,   develop learning pathways, establish training standards ,   drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support a culture of learning and development. The role requires   a high level   of professionalism, confidentiality, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

Training Strategy and Development

- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) through observations, employee assessments, surveys, interviews, and collaboration with functional leaders.   Develop and   maintain   a manufacturing competency framework, including role-based competency requirements, qualification criteria, and structured learning pathways.

- Develop, implement, govern, and continuously improve manufacturing learning programs and capability development strategies that support business   objectives , operational excellence, workforce readiness, and regulatory compliance.

- Design   competency-based   training curricula, materials, assessments, and learning pathways for production and support functions.

- Coordinate and manage training schedules, ensuring training activities are delivered effectively and   in a timely manner .

- Identify   and implement   appropriate learning   methodologies including classroom training, OJT, coaching, e-learning, blended learning, simulations, and competency assessments.

- Evaluate learning effectiveness using competency assessments, operational KPIs, quality metrics, employee performance, learner feedback, and business outcomes.

- Analyze learning analytics and workforce capability trends to   identify   skill gaps and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.

- Ensure training programs   comply with   Quality Management System (QMS), GMP, regulatory, and company requirements.

- Support employee onboarding, certification, recertification, multi-skilling, cross-training, and competency development programs.

Training Operations and Administration

- Coordinate training   logistics , including scheduling, venue arrangements, training resources, and attendance tracking.

- Maintain   accurate   and up-to-date training records,   competencies , certifications, and training databases.

- Prepare and distribute training materials and ensure all required resources are available before training sessions.

- Monitor employee training compliance and follow up on overdue or mandatory training requirements.

- Generate, analyze, and present training dashboards, learning KPIs, compliance metrics, competency trends, and workforce capability reports to leadership.

- Support internal and external audits by providing training records and   evidence   of employee competency.

- Manage training budgets and resources efficiently to maximize training effectiveness.

- Maintain Learning Management System (LMS) data integrity and   optimize   learning system effectiveness.

Stakeholder Collaboration

- Partner closely with Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Human Resources, Supply Chain, and subject matter experts to   identify   capability requirements and develop effective learning solutions aligned with business priorities.

- Provide coaching, consultation, and strategic guidance to supervisors, managers, trainers, and subject matter experts on workforce capability development and learning effectiveness.

- Promote knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and best practice exchange across manufacturing operations .

Continuous Improvement and Special Projects

- Keep abreast of industry trends, adult learning methodologies, manufacturing best practices, and emerging training technologies.

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing learning systems, competency management, workforce capability development, and learning technologies.

- Contribute to operational excellence initiatives that improve productivity, quality, compliance, employee capability, and manufacturing performance .

- Benchmark manufacturing learning practices against industry best practices and recommend innovative learning solutions

- Perform   additional   duties and special   projects as   assigned.

Health, Safety, and Compliance

- Promote and   maintain   a safe and healthy workplace   in accordance with   Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) requirements.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, Quality Management Systems, GMP standards, and all applicable regulatory requirements.

- Actively support safety initiatives and foster a culture of safety awareness and accountability.

Qualifications and Experience

Required

- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources , Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, Manufacturing, Engineering, or   a related   discipline.

- Strong command of written and spoken English.

- Minimum   3 – 5   years of experience   in Training, Learning & Development, or Capability Development, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

- Experience developing competency frameworks and structured learning pathways   and   delivering training programs for production or operational teams.

- Strong facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Strong organizational, planning, and administrative skills with attention to detail.

Preferred

- Experience developing manufacturing competency frameworks and capability roadmaps.

- Familiarity with GMP, ISO standards, Quality Systems, and regulated manufacturing environments.

- Experience managing training records, competency matrices, and compliance-driven training programs.

- Certification in Training, Learning & Development, Adult Learning, or Instructional Design is an advantage.
