About the Role
InnovaCell is Thermo Fisher Scientific’s Corporate Strategy and Digital Innovation team for Latin America. Our portfolio includes data and artificial intelligence solutions already operating in production—from executive dashboards that support regional decision-making and AI agents used by senior leaders, to daily Databricks pipelines and our regional AI enablement program.
As our team continues to grow, we are looking for a Senior Analyst, Digital Innovation and AI Delivery who will help strengthen how we manage and deliver our portfolio.
This role goes beyond building technical solutions. You will bring structure, prioritization, and execution discipline to a portfolio of more than 13 concurrent initiatives, while also contributing hands-on to the development and deployment of data and AI solutions.
The ideal candidate combines a strong technical foundation with project and portfolio management capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and the autonomy to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

What You Will Accomplish
During your first 12 months, you will:
- Establish and strengthen the portfolio management model in Jira, implementing effective planning, backlog refinement, review, and prioritization practices.
- Drive AI initiatives from solution design through production deployment and integration with corporate systems.
- Create clear portfolio visibility, enabling regional leaders to quickly understand the status, priorities, dependencies, and next steps of key initiatives.
- Partner directly with Latin America executives and business leaders, communicating progress and translating business needs into structured, executable plans.
- Help establish scalable delivery practices that enable the team to manage a growing portfolio of digital and AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Portfolio & Agile Delivery
- Coordinate multiple digital, data, and AI initiatives simultaneously, ensuring clear priorities, ownership, dependencies, and timelines.
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum practices, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Maintain portfolio visibility and provide stakeholders with clear and timely updates on progress, risks, dependencies, and priorities.
- Continuously improve delivery processes and ways of working as the portfolio evolves.

Data & AI Solution Development
- Design, develop, and support production-ready data and AI solutions.
- Apply software engineering best practices, including version control, maintainable code, documentation, and production sustainability.
- Support the integration of AI and data solutions with corporate platforms and systems.
- Contribute to the ongoing operation and continuous improvement of deployed solutions.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with stakeholders across functions such as Marketing, Human Resources, IT, and global teams.
- Translate business challenges and requirements into actionable technical initiatives and delivery plans.
- Present project and portfolio updates to senior stakeholders and regional leadership.
- Navigate a multinational and matrixed environment while building strong cross-functional partnerships.
Team Development & Technical Standards
- Share technical standards, best practices, and delivery methodologies across the team.
- Support the development of junior team members through collaboration, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to a culture of experimentation, continuous improvement, and responsible adoption of AI.

What We Are Looking For
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, initiatives, or workstreams simultaneously, with a structured approach to prioritization and execution.
- Strong software engineering foundation, including experience developing and maintaining code in production environments—not exclusively analytical models or notebooks.
- Hands-on experience applying Agile methodologies, including backlog management, prioritization, planning, and delivery cadences.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bring structure to ambiguous or evolving business needs.
- Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience working with senior business leaders.
- Fluent Portuguese.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional proficiency in Spanish and/or English.
- Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate), and/or Power BI .
- Experience developing solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and API-based integrations.
- Experience working in multinational and matrixed organizations.
- Experience supporting data or digital products in continuous production environments.
- Experience facilitating workshops, discovery sessions, or Design Thinking activities to translate business needs into executable initiatives.
