Description:

- Proficiently set up and operate all assigned grinding machines.

- Execute tasks based on set up cards or operation sheets, ensuring adherence to specification.

- Select suitable wheels, methods, and tooling based on job requirements and material specifications.

- Exercise judgement in choosing the appropriate tooling to meet varying conditions.

- Dress and change wheels as needed to maintain optimal machine performance and achieve desired finishes.

- Appy judgement in laying out work, setting up machines, and checking the quality of finished products.

- Conduct inspections to ensure work meets specified conditions and quality standards.

- Perform routine teardown of machines, including thorough cleanup and maintenance tasks.

- Adhere to established maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure equipment longevity and reliability.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

- Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds

- Score of 50 or better on the Bennett Mechanical Aptitude Test or equivalent.

- Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation or similar experience preferred.

- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
