About this role

POSITION SUMMARY
A Technician performs testing, cleaning, quality grading, and data sanitization on all electronic devices according to Company and industry standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

- Clean mobile electronic devices by removing any stickers, adhesives, or dirt from the devices.

- Utilize testing machines and a variety of hand tools.

- Perform accurate data entry (productivity logs, order manifests, testing results, etc.)

- Understand written instructions and follow detailed verbal directions.

- Meet production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards.

- Research and maintain a current, working, knowledge of technical information and applications.

- Multi-task, prioritize, and work in a flexible, changing environment with multiple competing deadlines.

- Accurately perform job duties with minimal supervision.

- Effectively communicate (oral, written, and verbal), and maintain good relationships with co-workers.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Material sorting

- Physical transport safety.

- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

- Near vision – ability to see details at close range

- Finger dexterity – ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects

- Knowledge of basic mathematics

- Active learning – understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making

- Documenting/Recording information – entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form

- Familiarity with mobile electronics (laptops, Chromebooks, iPads, MacBooks, etc.)
