Packaging Development and LCM Specialist

What can you expect from your day with us?

- Develop packaging strategically for the company, mapping new technologies and raw materials.
- Implement improvements in packaging and processes, focusing on cost reduction and development time.
- Analyzing the impact on the entire production chain until the end of the packaging's useful life.
- Ensure that the packaging developed meets the quality standards set by the medical device industry, including ISO standards and government regulations.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure that packaging meets product and customer requirements.
- Plan and execute packaging tests to ensure their suitability for transport, storage, and use of medical devices, as well as coordinate the validation of packaging processes.
- Constantly seek new technologies, materials and packaging techniques that can improve the protection, durability, ease of use and efficiency of packaging.
- Consider and implement sustainable packaging practices, including selecting eco-friendly packaging materials, reducing waste, and optimizing packaging to minimize environmental impact.
- Preparation of a document with response to regulatory questions, including test report, technical specifications, safety and efficacy data, and other information necessary to demonstrate the compliance of the packaging with regulatory requirements.
- Interact directly with regulatory authorities when necessary, providing clear and complete responses to inquiries, ensuring that all concerns are addressed effectively.

What do you need to have or know?

- Complete higher education in eng. Mechanical, industrial design or similar
- Solid experience in packaging development.
- Fluent English (mandatory for daily communication with the global team).
- Knowledge in technical standards and regulations related to packaging for medical devices.
- Knowledge in SAP.
- Interpretation of technical drawings.
- Knowledge in production processes related to packaging.
- Project management.
