Compensation & Schedule
- Hourly Pay: $35.00–$40.00, based on experience and certifications
- Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM
- Overtime: Required as needed to meet operational demands

About the Role
This position involves complex diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a wide range of heavy diesel equipment . It is classified as safety-sensitive , meaning the work directly impacts the safety of personnel, equipment , and the public.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on heavy diesel and yellow iron equipment
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues from Operator Vehicle Inspection Reports
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
- Communicate repair needs clearly and professionally
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures without exception

Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and diesel repair
- Strong knowledge of yellow iron machinery, hydraulics , and diesel systems
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
- Must own and maintain a complete set of professional-grade tools
- Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- High school diploma or GED required
- ASE certifications or welding qualifications are preferred
- Must be a self-starter capable of working independently
- Safety-Sensitive: If offered the position, the candidate must pass all pre-employment screenings, including: Background Check – Comprehensive criminal history screening
- Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) – Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Drug Screening – Pre-employment drug test, including marijuana
