Job Description – Senior Manager, Bidding & Proposals
Department: Opportunity & Proposals | Function: Commercial
Reports To: Head of Opportunity & Proposals
Job Purpose
Lead the end-to-end bid and proposal process, ensuring timely delivery of compliant, competitive, and high-quality submissions while coordinating cross-functional teams to maximize win probability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full bid lifecycle from opportunity qualification to proposal submission and handover.
- Develop bid strategies, schedules, and governance, ensuring compliance with internal approvals.
- Coordinate Business Development, Finance, Contracts, Procurement, PMO, and Engineering to deliver winning proposals.
- Analyze RFPs and customer requirements to develop competitive and compliant bids.
- Lead bid reviews, risk management, pricing coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years' experience in bid/proposal management, preferably in Aerospace & Defence.
- APMP/Shipley certification is an advantage.

- Expertise in bid management, international tenders, pricing, and proposal development.
- Strong project management, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
