Managing Director, Pixii Europe

This is a senior leadership role with full P&L accountability and direct commercial ownership. You report to the CEO.

About Pixii

Pixii develops modular battery energy storage systems that help customers improve grid utilization, support electrification, and integrate renewable energy. Founded in Norway in 2018, Pixii has deployed more than 5,500 systems across Europe, Australia and other international markets. The company combines expertise in power electronics, software, and energy management to deliver scalable solutions for utilities, EV charging, commercial and industrial customers, and other energy-intensive applications.

The role

As Managing Director for Europe, you will have full accountability for Pixii's European business — commercially, financially, and organisationally. You will have the mandate to build a profitable, scalable operation and lead Pixii's next step change in Europe.

You will:

- Own the full European P&L: revenue, margins, cost base, and working capital

- Drive and close the commercial pipeline, and lead the European sales team of 10+

- Set commercial terms, pricing framework, and market priorities

- Build and lead the full European organisation — sales, delivery, service, and administration

- Establish executive-level partnerships with utilities, EPCs, developers, and major industrial customers

- Represent Europe to the CEO, board, and owners

What you will be measured on

- Order intake and contribution margin — both, not one at the expense of the other

- Revenue growth and deal conversion rate

- Cost base, cost-to-serve, and working capital discipline

- Quality, effectiveness, and retention of the European team

- Forecast accuracy

Who we are looking for

You are an experienced business leader with strong commercial acumen and genuine P&L ownership experience.

You bring:

- Long commercial leadership experience with full P&L ownership at country, regional, or business-unit level

- A strong track record of building and leading high-performance teams

- Ability to close complex, high-value deals and build executive-level customer relationships

- Strong financial acumen and command of the commercial mechanics of an industrial business

- Background from energy, infrastructure, industrial technology, or adjacent sectors

- Experience of operating or managing a legal entity, preferably in Germany

Practical details

Location: Preferably Darmstadt (Germany), Oslo (Norway), or another major European hub. Significant travel required.

English required. German is a strong advantage. A Scandinavian language or other major European language is an additional asset.

Remuneration: Base salary plus a performance-linked variable tied to European P&L delivery, and a long-term incentive element.
