JOB: L1 ma - Level 1 - Certified Medication Aide

We are looking for a dedicated L1 Certified Medication Aide to join our compassionate team at our Westbrook Care Center, a Senior Living Community, in Kearney, MO . As a medication aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting our senior residents with medication management while ensuring their safety and comfort. Overnight Shift - 7:00pm-7:00am

What You'll Do:

- Administer medications to residents accurately and timely, following care plans and under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

- Keep detailed, up-to-date medication records as per facility policies.

- Maintain medication storage areas in compliance with regulations.

- Assist residents with daily living activities when necessary.

- Observe and report changes in residents health or well-being.

- Maintain open and effective communication with families to keep them informed of their loved ones care, changes in condition, and medication updates.

- Work closely with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure the best possible care for each resident.

- Stay current with training and development in medication administration.

What We're Looking For:

- Missouri LEVEL 1 Certification Medication Aide

- Previous experience in a senior care or long-term care setting

- Current CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially with families and the care team.

- Compassionate, patient, and reliable.

- Ability to lift and assist residents (up to 50 pounds).

- Must pass background checks and drug screening.
