About this role

AIM or MISSION: This position will prepare  aluminum parts for secondary processes utilizing work instructions and various power tools  in a manner that maximizes the design, quality and performance of our boats.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/EXPECTATIONS:

- Safely use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and form aluminum parts

- Fabricate aluminum parts according to specifications.

- Read and interpret work instructions and schematics.

- Accurately operate machinery such as saws, drills, and other hand tools.

- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Use scan stations to accurately record labor in company computer systems.

- Ability to follow complex instruction to avoid costly mistakes.

- Use templates or patterns to ensure that holes are drilled to specifications.

- Use pattern to accurately cut and drill parts.

- Ability to quickly transition between a wide variety of cutting and drilling tasks.

- Parts washing in preparation for powder coating.

Qualifications

KEY ACCOUNTABILIES

- Ability to read a tape measure

- Proficient in reading and interpreting work instructions and schematics

- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

- Experience operating machinery such as saws and drills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

- Ability to work in high humidity environment that is not climate controlled including parts washing booth.

- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
