Technology Specialist - Makó (Hungary) - Your future position?

Overall mission:

The most important aims of the role are supporting product introduction, improvement of production and quality processes, waste reduction, and strengthening of right first time ratio. Building up your knowledge of all the Makó production technologies. You will be located in Makó and report to the Process Technology Manager. The role will be opened with a fix-term contract to cover a parental leave.

You will:

Manage Makó product portfolios, support production planning locally and regionally

- Work together with regional development laboratories on Makó related projects
- Manage new product industrialization process
- Accomplish experimental and production trials
- Manage technological expertise during product transfers processes
- Manage production scale-up activities
- Support new products and support new technology introductions
- Provide technological support in cost reduction programs and improve quality consistency of technological processes
- Support local raw material sourcing with functionality testing
- In case of emergency situation coordinate and support process trouble shooting activities
- Establish technology procedures (SOP)
- Z2Q and Z2P notification analysis, resolution and definition, implementation of preventive measures

Formula change management

- Identify formula change needs and provide technological support for flavor modification, implement the agreed trials
- Manage Global, regional and local Process Technology/Innovation Projects
- Participate in projects of Process technology/Innovation responsibility
- Lead and report on quality improvement and waste reduction projects

You:

- University/college degree in Food Technology or Chemistry
- Experience in the Flavor Technology and Creation
- Understanding of flavour ingredients and their impact on flavours
- Basic knowledge in chemical analytical techniques and methods
- GC/MS
- Spectrophotometry
- Powder handling
- Fluency in English & Hungarian languages
