We are looking for a Customs Rater to join our Bogotá team.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build and grow their career in customs and international logistics , while gaining exposure to import transactions across multiple modes of transportation in a fast-paced, international environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous exposure to customs clearance, customs brokerage, international trade, or logistics
- Knowledge of HS codes / tariff classification
- Familiarity with import and transportation documentation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced English , both written and spoken
- A proactive mindset and strong willingness to learn and grow
Nice to Have
- Experience with CargoWise
- Experience with CSS (Customs Software Solutions)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the customs release and compliance process for import shipments
- Review commercial invoices and transportation documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Process customs entries accurately and within established timelines
- Support HS classification / tariff coding
- Work with air, ocean, and ground transportation documentation
- Communicate with internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve documentation or customs-related issues
- Maintain accurate shipment and customs information in internal systems
- Ensure compliance with established customs procedures and requirements
