Coil Processing Specialist I

Must pass drug test and background check

This posting is for New Century, Kansas

Shifts - M-F 6:00am - 2:30pm & M-F 11:00am - 7:30pm

Here are some things you'll be doing:

- Reads/understands orders on a daily basis

- Builds wooden skids

- Safely operates radial saw and nail gun

- Builds and packages skids of flat rolled metal for shipping

- Operates forklift, man lift, and overhead crane according to procedure

- Assists in loading trucks

- Utilizes systems to complete paperwork verifying correct shipping

- Moves material to and from designated areas

- Participates in company training on Safety, Hazard Communication, blood borne pathogens, and accident reporting, among others

- Wears PPE equipment-steal toe boots, safety glasses, gloves and arm guards

- Assists other employees as needed

- Performs other duties

Wage Progression:

- 2nd job: +$1.00 (Operation Specialist 1 Operation Specialist 2)

- 3rd job: +$0.50

- 4th job: +$1.25 (Operation Specialist 2 Operation Specialist 3)

- 5th job: +$0.50

- 6th job + $0.50

- 7th job + $1.50 (Operation Specialist 3 Operation Specialist 4)

- 8th Job + $0.50

- 9th Job +$1.75 (Operation Specialist 4 Operation Specialist 5) 2 Ops Functions & Trainer
